So Why Vegan?
Animal behaviorist, Jonathan Balcombe perhaps says it best: “Veganism is the holy grail of personal activism for animals, the environment, and human health.” Going vegan aligns your values and your actions. As a vegan, you become an ambassador for those values. You literally live by example, showing others that living by the principles of non violence and respect for all sentient beings is obtainable, practical, even quite joyful and infinitely rewarding. By demonstrating a healthy, vegan lifestyle, you show rather than tell how it is possible to live compassionately and without a reliance on animals which many mistakenly believe are normal, natural and necessary to our diet. For non vegans, your presence may cause them to question their own assumptions, the first step to considering veganism.

BRAVO JACQUI, THIS IS NOT JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT- BUT – THOUGHT FOR FOOD! WHEN WE SAY OUR PRAYER OF THANKS FOR OUR FOOD, MAYBE WE SHOULD THINK A LITTLE DEEPER ABOUT WHAT WE ARE EATING & WHERE IT COMES FROM AND “AT WHAT COST”. I DON’T THINK ANY OF US WANT TO CAUSE PAIN & DESTRUCTION (OR DEATH), JUST TO FILL OUR “NEVER” EMPTY BELLIES. KEEP UP THE GOOD & WORTHWHILE ENDEAVOR.
